Coming past the "Home Trees", otherwise known as Cookworthy Knapp, a sense of peace returns after a long journey. Apart from the relief that we are nearly home, what is it about those trees that we are all so fond. My mind turns to the tranquillity offered under their shelter, and wanders off to imagine happy gatherings with friends, beautiful nights under the stars, all the wildlife protected by the canopy, and I just want to be there.
